

My Journey
Welcome to Yoga by Viraj. I’m a certified yoga teacher trained at the University of Patanjali, Haridwar, where I deepened my understanding of traditional yogic practices and philosophy. My journey with yoga began as a personal quest for physical and mental well-being before evolving into a passion for teaching and sharing the transformative practice of Yoga in its righteous form with others.
Currently, I divide my time between teaching online yoga classes and volunteering at a unique school in the Himalayas near Tehri Garhwal. This school focuses on holistic child development, where I learn and teach music, meditation, and a practical, nature-connected approach to learning for students.
My Approach
My teaching philosophy centers on the integration of mind, body, and breath. I believe yoga is not just physical exercise but a comprehensive practice for holistic wellness.
Body Awareness
Through mindful movement, I guide students to develop a deeper connection with their physical bodies, promoting better posture, flexibility, and strength.
Meditation Focus
Meditation is central to my practice, helping students calm their minds, reduce stress, and cultivate present-moment awareness.
Nature Connection
Living in the Himalayas has deepened my reverence for nature. I incorporate this connection in my teaching, emphasizing harmony with our natural environment.

The Himalayan Influence
Living in the Himalayas has profoundly shaped my yoga practice and teaching style. The serene environment of Anjanisain village near Tehri Garhwal provides the perfect backdrop for deep meditation and awareness.
The mountains teach patience and perseverance, while the abundant natural beauty reminds us of nature’s cycles and the importance of living in harmony with our environment.
This Himalayan wisdom infuses my online classes, bringing a touch of mountain tranquility to students wherever they may be practicing.
My Teaching Vision

I offer live online classes every Monday to Friday, in the morning (6:30–7:30 AM) and evening (4:00–5:00 PM). I understand these times may not work for everyone. That’s why I also share recorded sessions and specialized content addressing specific health concerns and yoga philosophy on social media platforms to help more people benefit from yoga’s transformative power.
Why I Teach
As part of a small, mindful community of teachers working with Anand Sir’s vision for holistic education, I’ve witnessed the transformative power of mindfulness practices. My goal is to create a similar sense of community through my online yoga classes, where students can experience:
